Anybody know when this gear will be out? What is the story on the M3? Major design changes? |

No indication of price. Aimpoint raised the price of the ML2 and M2 by 4% for 2005. So I imagine that the ML3 and M3 will be atleast $30-$50 more than the older models... C4 www.gandrtactical.com |
They using uranium Batteries??? I've had mine for over a year and it's still on the original battery... what is the expected new battery life??? or is that being saved for SHOT???

I have no idea what the actual numbers are... but I thought that I saw that aimpoint is making for the swedish military (might be wrong on that, its one of the countries in that area) a sight that uses a dl123 battery and has something like a 10 year life. I got you beat. I just passed two years with the OEM battery. It's an M2 that is always left at the 7 setting. It also is periodically transported for long periods of time in cold Wisconsin winters. It's still going strong.  Corey |

This unit is going to be great. What else is out there to compete against it? Eotech? Great I guess, but what about battery life? Tripoint? Not yet... M3 and Magnifier...looks like the system to beat! ***** One question though: will the magnifier come complete with the tip-off QD base? |
