Hello,

Does anyone have a chart giving the battery life of the different Eotech revisions? I know that the F is the latest & greatest and the AA model has 3 times the life of the N's BUT what are the others putting out? It would be good for info purposes especially when buying off the EE Board! All info is greatly appreciated!

I only get about 3-4 hours off mine with N size batteries.  I think have an E Series.  I usually keep the brightness all the way up..

I would like to know this too.
I recently got an AA model, rev. C off of Ebay.
I haven't seen any good figures to give me an idea what to expect in the way of battery life.

Love the sight though!

FWIW, EOTech AA sights have 1/12 the battery life of an ML2/M2.

In my un-offical testing.....

Turned on every day 4pm and run 2 - 8 hours cycles your AA EOTech will last approximately 30 days until the batteries need to be replaced.

The Aimpoints operated from 4pm to 4am daily have been lasting me a year (I been replacing my ML2 batts on my birthday for the last 2 years and it ain't never run out), this is the primary reason I sold my EO and replaced it w/ another Aimpoint.

ps - liked the sight, hated the "lack" of battery life

Mike,

You may want to checkout the 552 Rev F.  Using lithium AA's it has the same battery life as the Aimpoint M2.

Of course, unless you're deployed without access to batteries for weeks on end, who cares if you have to replace the batteries once in a while? I'm not saying that there aren't people who need the super long battery life of the Aimpoint, I'm just not one of them.

Got my about a month ago, stuck 2 AA battery in it (semi-used - from a remote control).  Left it on a couple times (but it automatically turns off in like 2 hours (left button).  Still running bright, haven't had to change it yet.  And, I use it atleast 4 times a week.  I love it.

Can I ask what you got it for off Ebay?
