Will the C More Tactical co witness on an A-3 rifle? If not what is the best way to sight them in?

I have a Cmore "Colt Tactical" on a Busmaster XM15-E2S with a 20" H-Bar. It is mounted directly on the receiver. I used the normal "battle sight" zero for the irons and the Cmore dot is zeroed 2.5" high at 100yds. They co-witness perfectly in the bottom third of the glass. I did replace the 6MOA dot with a 2MOA. The 6 covered more of the target than I liked a longer ranges.

I know others have had trouble with Cmores holding zero. I have not. This sight has only been on the weapon for about 3k rounds. It hasn't been bumped around a lot. The sight was bought in about 2001.
