| I was wondering with the night vision on the 550 will the brightness change even without the nightvision monocular not there because im not going to be using a night vision system but I like the versitilaty of the brightness levels but if it doesnt change except when you have a NVS then it wouldnt be worth getting the 550. Am I wrong? Thanks |
| I have a 552, and it has it's whole range of normal brightness settings that you change with the up and down arrow. Then when you hit the NV button it goes into nightvision mode and has another range of settings, all of which are much too dim to see (the very brightest NV setting is faintly visible to the naked eye in a completely dark room). Then when you hit the NV button again it should go back to your last normal mode setting. |
