Now that I got my new M4gery, I need to sight it in. I've read all the posts and articles about how to do a battlesight zero at 25 meters. Since I just got my AR today, I noticed that my ARMS #40 BUIS has no elevation dial on it. So I can't bottom it out and raise it 2 clicks.

So how do I battlesight zero with an ARMS #40 rear sight? If it's not possible, what's the most common distance to zero the iron sights at?

Thanks,
Ezterra

PS
I tried using the search, but it turned up no topics.

Zero at 50 yards.

Use the front sight for elevation.

I also have an EoTech sight that I was planning to zero at 50 yards. Should I also zero the BUIS for 50 yards, or should I move it out to 100 or 200 yards?

I was hoping that I could still zero my AR at my local indoor range at 25 yards, but it's looking like I might have to go to the outdoor range and zero at the actual distance.

Santise Improved Battlesight Zero at 50.

From the barrel to 220 yards you're within a couple inches up and down. Only way to go -- well, not only, but best IMHO.

Here's a great set of instructions:

IBZ

Make sure to follow instructions for the M4.

Hey, thanks for all the info. 50 yards it is! Please bear with me as I get things figured out.
