I'm mounting a first generation holosight on my Bushie M-4gery. I don't want to take off the front sight tower on this upper, so I need a riser to bring the holososght up so the reticle will clear/co-wtiness with the front sight. I've ordered one of these: GG&G FIRE system scout-length rail I like the idea of the scout length since the housing on the older holosight is pretty long and I want to move the sight forward -- for both eyes open CQB-type stuff (3-gun mostly) and to leave room for a BUIS. Guess I've made a choice, but I can always change my mind. What do y'all use/like/suggest? |
