Am looking to put a scope on my RR16" carbine and am looking at the single piece units for a quick removal without disturbing the zero.

Is there any particular model  that I should consider? Since I have M4 handguards, what is the max size obj. I can use with this mount without interfering with the handguards?

Thanks a for any help.

HERE'S MY VOTE:

THE LARUE TACTICAL SPR SCOPE MOUNT. I EVEN KNOW THE BEST PLACE TO GET THEM.

If you're on a budget, I can highly recommend the Armalite mount.  I've used one for years with a 40mm obj. Leupold and it's been outstanding with excellent return to zero.

If you've got extra $$, the LaRue mount is - as they say in the Vatican - The Tits!

+1 for Armalite mount. I've even had a 56mm objective on an AR-10A4.
