I'm just curious if mounting a scope on top on top of the handle affects accuracy at all if properly sighted? I ask because I read elsewhere that handle mounted scopes are too high from the bore axis, and there are accuracy problems. But that was just one guys opinion.  I don't mean ACOGs though, they are fairly tight to the handle, I mean scopes on top of mounts which mount to handles (a little higher up). Does anyone know for sure how accuracy may be affected by an optic mounted this way? |
