I am going to mount either  a 3x24 compact ACOG or TAO1 to my carry handle.  My front site will be Trijicon night sight.  Will the front site(glowing) hender my viewing through the scope at night.
I don't want to see a glowing front site through my ACOG.
thanks

Shouldn't see it, the compact ACOG looks over the front site - that's why you can still look through the mount and use irons.

You may see some eye relief issues with the 3x24 though - it has the same eye relief as the TA01; but it mounts further forward in the carry handle.

I don't have a problem with mine, but that's me.

You might (read: really) want to try that 3x24 mounted on an A2 upper before you buy. My dad has it and while he doesn't seem to have problem (and I didn't at first place) now I feel the eye relief is too short.

I've been used to TA31 (same eye relief as TA01) mounted on flat-top and... I now feel that I have to stretch my head forward in order to get a perfect vision with 3x24. If you are using it on carbine with telestock then it shouldn't be a problem, but if you have a regular A2 or A1 you might have some relief issues.
