All right, I bought this used a while ago and went to sight it in this morning. When I took the caps off, the adjustment screws were all the way Up!!!! It took me quite some time to get this thing on paper at 25 yards! I moved out to about 75 yards and can't get it back on paper!!! Any suggestions, or should I trade it in for the Tac Point

Couldn't help it
It was posted as like new. The thing looks perfect, but yes it is used! I think the person that had it just dialed the adjustment screws all the way out! It may take me a while to get it zereod, thats all.

Not to crap on your thread or anything, but that is why I never buy used. Sometimes you end up getting someone elses problem.

I can't help but wondering on the face if it isn't one of the used Aimpoints all clean and painted is all.  What type mount are you using, a counterfit KAC airsoft type?  Sorry I just had to say that.  Buuwwahahh

Now there coming for you too!!!
I am using an arms set up!!! I don't think this thing has been repainted (I hope not) Everything was perfect...Box papers everything! I don't know!!! I figured something may have happened like when my son was playing with the adjustment knobs on the scope on my deer rifle, the knight before I left for camp
I have all day tomorrow!!! I will update then!!!
Cross your fingers, because I have no Idea who I bought it from off of the EE

Irish,

Why don't you give this a try:

I had to take off my Vortex and put an A2 FH on but it seems to work. (Yes, a little magnification would help but this may get you in the ballpark.....)

Can I borrow your Tacpoint if your not gonna' use it  ....................

Aimpoints are easy to dial in, set up at 50 yds and dial your irons in. Next take the Aimpoint and set the dot on the tip of your front site. Fine tune as needed. Now if this is a Tacpoint toy! I cant help you.

OK, first I would set mechanical zero on the sight.

Run the adjustments all the way out, then, counting the clicks, run it all the way in. Take the number of clicks, divide by two, then back the adjustments out that number.

Your scope should be now mechanically zeroed, and hopefully close to your rifle's zero. At least close enough to finish zeroing it in.

I HATE it when someone messes with adjustments when they don't know what they're doing.
