Hey guys, if I wanted to mimic the height of rings on new MarCorps SAM-R rifles, with Warne rings, anyone know what height I should get for a good cheek weld? and have it fit over an ARMS 40? Keep in mind I have the flip down front sight, thanks again.

I use Warne Ultra-High quick release rings, which puts the center of the scope at the same height as the A2 iron sights. My Leupold just barely clears my ARMS #40.  Normally, I despise vertical split rings, but these work well.

I think I have the Warnes Extra High Ring (but I am not positive) and they allow my Accupoint to cleat the Knights 600M BUIS

EDITED:  After closely examing the pic of the Ultra High rings, mine are definitely the Extra High.

I don't know if that pic of the high, extra high or ultra high.  It was just a generic Warne picture from the Brownells site.

Warnes Website would be much better if they gave the centerline ring height.

Just got a rough number for my ring.  Approx. 1.45" to the centerline.  I also changed the BUIS to the Troy Ind. and there is a 1/8" gap between the rear objective and the BUIS.
