I'll be glad with the "search" function is back...

In the meantime, I just bought a used Aimpoint 5000 that I plan to use for a couple of months on a flattop M4gery before I put it on another rifle.  I have a Knights RAS and ARMS #40.  Does anyone have pics of an Aimpoint 5k on their AR's?  Any opinions on this old scope?

I have one on an AK. It is quite accurate and holds zero.

I doubt, however, that it will take near the beating the current models will.
