I was searching for my perfect scope last night, and I could have SWORN I found a 5x compact scope with an illuminated post and a bullet drop comp, all for around $400.  I thought it was on SWFA, but now, today, I can't seem to find it!  Maybe I just had beer goggles on last night, but if such a thing really exists, I'd sure like to see it.

Anybody?

That would be an ATN scope, but I don't see them on the site.

THAT'S IT! It's an ATN 5x33L.

Now that I know where (and where not to) find it, what is your opinion of it?

Google search using "5X33L" came up with numerous sources.  Give it a try.

Yep, I found several sources, but no opinions of it thus far.  Since the search option is down here, does anyone have any positive/negative to say about the 5x33L or ATN in general?

yes, from what i hear about atn scopes is there a peice of crap, becuase of reticle breakage, and problems in the reticle, and there big and heavy, and i dont know wether this i a coinsidence or not, but the scopes i heard about with these problems were variable models, i think thats what is bad about them, i think a fixed power would be ok, but im not sure, but i would absolutely not buy a variable. but lets see some other opinions.
