What is the diferance between a Comp XL and a ML2?

Comp XD was a civilian model with no lense covers or adjustment cap retainers. It had an improved diode performance over the original Aimpoints, creating an 1000hr max battery life. IIRC, its been replaced by the CompC models. The ML2 is the militarized version with the newest diode that gives a 1000-10,000 hr battery life, and has the lense covers and rubber adjustment cap retainers. Its different from the M2 in that it doesnt have night vision settings. |
