if i have my aimpoint in the ARMS 22m68 mount... what kind of riser do i need to get it to the proper height if it were on a normal flat-top?... i'm looking at these:

www.bushmaster.com/shopping/bmas/yhm-226.asp

is 1/2 inch the proper height?  the rasII co-witnesses perfectly but the hump is .460in... is this differnce ok to co-witness?

Thanks for your help!

Why not just get the ARMS regular spacer or cantilever spacer for your mount?  I believe the regular spacer would be cheaper and that way your mount would be effectively all one piece.

The ARMS full spacer is only $10, and fits perfectly between the throwlever base and the AimPoint ring of the #22M68. The cantilever spacer is $30, and puts the sight 1.75" forward as well as raising it to the proper height.
Both include replacement screws to hold the whole thing together.

I've got both in stock, shoot me an email if you've got an interest.

I agree, the ARMS spacer would be a better solution. The extended spacer would be even better than both IMO.

Listen to TREE, (aka "the [red]Flaming[/red] Backpack Man") and others, get the original ARMS equipment that matches your M68.

the reason i'm not getting the arms spacer is because i'm already using the hump on the rasII... if i bought a spacer I couldn't run it off of the hump...

i want to be able to 'hot swap' my aimpoint between my carbine and another gun by just using the throw lever...

Thanks!

I think .5" is the right hight. The ARMS half spacer is .25" so the full spacer should be around .5".

That riser should work.

The YHM riser is .50", it will work fine for you.  I was attempting to locat a shorter riser and that is the height they told me it was so I was SOL on that project.
