| At a recent Miami Gunshow (2-29-04) I saw two ELCAN models I was unaware of. An M145 model with an yellow LED center illuminated inverted "tree" style reticle, with I believe 3.5x mag. The other was a 6x model with the 'standard' reticle with tritium illumination. Anyone have any of these and your thoughts? Was very tempted... |

Handled the 145. VERY nice. No moving parts, the torque knob is much nicer than the plastic thumb screws on the older model. Only concern might be parallax as you look at your target further from the center of the optic at longer ranges. Itm to note with the Hi-Mag, make sure you get a Gen IV base. NavyShooter |
