I will break down and buy a EOtech. I want something with NV capabilities. What do you guys think I should get, I have no clue as to what kind of models they make. Thx for the help. Oh, its going on a CQB carbine so I need the hood. One more thing if this POS EOtech does not live up to the AimpointM2 I am going to let all of you EO junkies have it. |

Hi Boom, The EoTech is a great sight. M-Forgery is right the Rev E 551 and the 552 w/ NV work very will. EoTech also came out with the Rev F and we just received some to day. Rev F battery life is longer. We are taking 10% off EoTech Rev E’s. Let me know if I can help you. Quoted: I have a 552 on my SEBR AR10 carbine. I like that it takes plain ol AA batteries and turns its self off if you leave it on. It has something like 72 hours of battery life (though I don't remember exactly) and just plain works. You will love it. Even the N battery version have more life than that. AA battery version (rev E) with Lithiums will last 500 hours on setting 12 (indoor/low-med light evironment). At 17 it will last 160 hours (+) with NIMH rechargables (which have the shortest life of the AA options [NiMH, Alkaline, Lithium]). |
