[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ARMS 40 Problem..

Hey guys (n gals)...

I was shooting my flattop bushy the other day that has an ARMS 40 on the back end of it. The nut that screws onto the mount to mount it on the receiver came lose and disappeared into the grass at some point during the shoot.

Any idea where to get a new nut (it's the only piece I'm missing)? It doesn't look like the kind of item you'll find at lowes...

Fortunately all i'm missing is that nut.. nothing else disappeared...

Thanx Lumpy... I guess I'll give them a call. I emailed them and never heard anything back..

(I guess I should have clarified.. the "other day" was about 2 months ago)

I had exactly the same problem and the situation reminded me to never trust [b]anyone[/b] else to make sure all the screws were tightened down enough on a brand new rifle. [:)]

I use Blue Loctite on mine.

And ARMS has never answered any of my emails when I needed replacement parts.
