Hi all, Anybody have any issues like these? This is a new unit that worked properly when I bought it. It now (3 weeks later) won't shut off when both buttons are pressed. I have to remove the battery pack to shut down and now it also seems that I can't get the reticle to dim. Any suggestions? Thanks Meade UPDATE: I removed the battery pack again (about the fourth time) and replaced it and it started to function properly. These were new batteries to start with and they test as fully charged. The arrow buttons were clicking earlier but would not shut off or decrease the reticle intensity. Either button would start the unit up but the reticle would remain on at a high intensity. If it occurs again I will let you all know. Thanks for the input, Meade |

It sounds like your down arrow button isn't working, this would explain why it won't get dimmer and why it won't shut off. Can you turn it on with the down arrow? Can you feel the membrane clicking (for lack of a better word)? I'm interested to hear what you find out. |
