I am going to mount an ML2 on a flat top, using a backup ARMS 40 rear sight.  It appears the 40 is designed to operate at the flat top height, but the ML2 is going to need to be higher than the ARMS 22M68 mount will place it. What are my options for getting the Aimpoint the proper height?

You need to get the spacer for the 22M68. ARMS dealers carry them.

Be sure and check about the newer ARMs cantilever'd type spacer instead of the standard verticle one as it'll shift the ML2 abit further forward, ya might like it.
