Does an M3 or M6 tac light fit on the rail when the front sight tower is removed?

Yes, it should, it is made for a 1913 Mil-Std rail. Depending on your gas block, you *might* need to take a file acrossed the corners of one of the two a *few* times because occasionally they are tight.

but will it fit as far as length? Can it slide far enough back on the rail to lock on, or will the hadguard cap prevent this?
