I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I've never paid attention because I don't own one yet.  Where is the best place to mount an aimpoint comp m2 on an RASII?  What do I need so I can cowitness it with the ARMS #40 if I mount it on the "hump" vs. the flattop.  What if I plan on adding NV later on?  Thanks for the help guys.

Any preferences on a mount?  The ARMS #22M68 or the Aimpoint Railgrabber?  Any others I should consider?

If you want NV ability with the aimpoint, the hump is a bump in the rd, as it's in the way.
The 22m68 will fit on the bump without a spacer, but doesn't look very good over hanging. It works better forward or aft of the hump, and I prefer forward on any rail and shoot with both eyes open.

If someone has a chance, pics would be appreciated of some different setup options.  Anyone with an NV setup with an aimpoint and an RAS II would also be appreciated.

Use a #22M68 ring (no spacer) and mount it right on the hump.  That's the perfect setup, and the RAS II was practically made for this configuration.

Troy's info is accurate as always. The HUMP will work perfectly with the #22M68 and co-witness with an ARMS #40 BUIS...

IT'S A "BRIDGE", NOT A "HUMP", GENTLEMEN.

THREE AIMPOINT MOUNTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE AIMPOINT BRIDGE AND THE COMP M2/ML2 SERIES:

1. ARMS #22M68
2. PRI STANDARD HEIGHT AIMPOINT MOUNT
3. GG&G AIMPOINT RING

WE HAPPEN TO CARRY THE FIRST TWO, ALONG WITH THE RAS II, OF COURSE.

GGG's std Aimpoint ring fits on the bridge perfectly. You can get them at Lightfighter.com

The 22M68 will give you the ability to mount either ht. since you can get thier spacer and change at your will.

Will a bridge-mounted GG&G ring cowitness with an ARMS #40?  Height-above-rail specs for the GG&G vs. the 22M68 could be useful here.

Ok, no need to get snotty!  From your "mount data" list, it looks like the GG&G ring may mount a touch low for me.  Your list is quite thorough, thanks.

Wes snotty? [rofl]  Your question is answered by the link he posted above, instead of typing it up all over again it's just another way of saying "look up there if you haven't already".
