I know this has been asked a thousand times, but I've never paid attention because I don't own one yet. Where is the best place to mount an aimpoint comp m2 on an RASII? What do I need so I can cowitness it with the ARMS #40 if I mount it on the "hump" vs. the flattop. What if I plan on adding NV later on? Thanks for the help guys. Any preferences on a mount? The ARMS #22M68 or the Aimpoint Railgrabber? Any others I should consider? |

If you want NV ability with the aimpoint, the hump is a bump in the rd, as it's in the way. The 22m68 will fit on the bump without a spacer, but doesn't look very good over hanging. It works better forward or aft of the hump, and I prefer forward on any rail and shoot with both eyes open. Good shootin, Jack |

Troy's info is accurate as always. The HUMP will work perfectly with the #22M68 and co-witness with an ARMS #40 BUIS... C4 |

IT'S A "BRIDGE", NOT A "HUMP", GENTLEMEN. THREE AIMPOINT MOUNTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE AIMPOINT BRIDGE AND THE COMP M2/ML2 SERIES: 1. ARMS #22M68 2. PRI STANDARD HEIGHT AIMPOINT MOUNT 3. GG&G AIMPOINT RING WE HAPPEN TO CARRY THE FIRST TWO, ALONG WITH THE RAS II, OF COURSE.
