We need an EOTech FAQ.  For the questions about the "fuzzy" circle and similar things.  I nominate the already overworked Chen Lee.

I say "I"!

I think he has a review of the sight over at the Maryland AR15 shooters site.  It's a great review BTW!

Thanks SMGLee.  I don't know of anyone with as much knowledge and experience with EOTechs than you. [beer]

You make the FAQ page I'd be happy to host (or mirror) it.  We could attach it to your review of the EO Tech.

I actually took this thread as a kick in the butt to get the general optics FAQ rolling. What I have in mind is developing some overall areas of discussion that will be used for all of the more common optics we see discussed here.

I am totally against a FAQ for the EOTech! I love people telling that there is either something wrong with their EOTech or the reticle doesn't look like it does on the web site! A FAQ will end all my fun... [;D]

Trust me it won't.  The smart people will read the FAQ.

Then you'll have the people who are 'too busy' (or stupid) to read the FAQ so they'll ask the question anyway.

Then there will be those that read the FAQ and ask anyway just to verify the FAQ is telling the truth...

Just ask Troy how many times links to the Ammo Oracle or Magazine FAQ are posted and people still ask the questions...

But it WILL reduce the number of repetative question - just won't eliminate them.

This is true Forest. We will still get the folks that are lazy and won't read the FAQ section...

I defense of the lazy [:P] until you "find" the FAQs, it's not obvious to all people where they are. Most boards have links on the forum home page or some common board area for the FAQs.

Or you will get the people who don't know what FAQ means, so they wont read it at all.
