Hi, I have an ARMS 40 with the horizon line and would like to switch to the A2 aperature. Could someone pease explain the process. I tried the search function, but could not find what I was looking for. Do I just take out the screw on the right side and put the new aperature in? Do I have an small parts to worry about falling out? Thanks in advance for any help. USNCORPSMAN |

I don't have access to my TM right now but there is a roll pin in the windage knob that needs to come out and i believe there is something in the procedure about running the sight to one side or another. I swapped out mine for an ashley same plane but its been a while. I'd look it up but i'm on vacation in charleston. |
| Look at the windage knob and you will se a small hole drilled in the rim that runs all the way trough. Inside that hole is a small roll pin which needs to be pushed out. Since the rule is always use the right tool for the job, you need to go tothe hardware store with the sight and find the proper diameter punch to push it out. Or you can do what I did and just use a jumbo paperclip. Once the pin is out you may unscrew the windage knob and remove the sight. Reassemble in reverse order. IM me if you run into a problem. |
