I recently aquired a Reflex II Trijicon sight with an ARMS #15 mount.  I am trying to decide how to mount it.  The weapon I want to put it on is a 11.5" Bushmaster with an A1 receiver.  I have talked to Quarterbore about trading the ARMS mount for a Trijicon carry handle mount he has, but after the sight got here I really like the ARMS mount.  So, should I trade for the Trijicon mount or get an ARMS #39 gooseneck to stick the Reflex mount on instead?  Also, Quarterbore, your vote doesn't count!

In all honesty, I'd buy a new flat top upper for $95.  That mount works great on a flat top, with perfect cowitnessing.

Sorry, I know that is not the answer you are looking for.

Honestly, the flat top is the future of the AR.
If you spent money on a Reflex, then I would grit my teeth a little more and spring the $100 for a new flat top receiver and a barrel wrench and headspace guages. You can install the receiver yourself with very little work.
If you do this then you can keep the #15 mount.

Also just FYI, if you ever think you want your #15 to sit a little higher, you can get a #15S spacer for like $12.

The ARMS #51, a #39 with a SIR handguard attached.
