Use the ARMS #39 goose mount. It's the BEST! If you have an A2.

Spartan, those are Olympic FIRSH, give Mark Buda a call, he is selling then for around 100 dollars.  It is a free float unit which will require the removal of your barrel.  also if you have a weld on muzzle brake, it iwll have to be machined off.

xcoolice,

Rent Balck Hawk down, there is a lot of scenes with Aimpoint mounted on top of CARs.  The best way to mount a optic on a carrying handle is what Tzyck did.  The goose neck mount pushes the optic forward to give you a better alignment with the bullet flight path, this way, you are able to utilize the 50 yard sight in and get 2-3 inches diffecence from 0-300 yards.  Also with theoptic mounted forwrad, it spped up your target acquisition speed, and give you a wider field of view.

ARMS is coming out with an Aimpoint specific mount to mount it on the carrying handle.  check this out, ARMS #16a

It's the Oly. FIRSH. I think that they are great for the price. Not a problem to install if:
1) you don't have a muzzle break
2) If you have a preban w/ a threaded barrel

because you have to remove the front sight.

You can read more about it on this thread:
