OK, so i was looking at a scope mount today and i was wondering if anyone has the 'tactical scope mount' seen at gunaccessories.com in the AR-15 section which mounts a scope on the carry-handle and then extends over the hand rails and allows mounting of a light, laser, etc...

It does not look like it has very much clearance for the scope rings you would need for mounting tactical accessories without ruining the ability to zero the scope...

anyone used one or have any ideas?

You'd be much better off buying an ARMS #39A2. I've owned one, and it's a quality piece. I don't know about the one you're referring to, though. I'd stick with ARMS; you'll pay more (a LOT more, most likely), but they're a known quantity.
