Alright, another FNG question:

Will the front iron sight interfere with a scope mounted on a flottop? For the sake of argument, say a higher power scope such as 3x or up, not a reflex type sight. My understanding it is not in the focal plane and therefore will not be visible on a higher zoom even if it does protrude slightly into the field of view.

No more than a small smudge in the lower secion of the scope on my 4x ELCAN. TA01NSN is the same. Have to look for it to see it. A non issue.

Depending on barrel length, but 4x plu will be out of the focal plain and you see nothing on the carbine, but don't try to mount too low either as that has other downsides of effecting field of view and a good cheek weld.

The front post does not interfere with my 3x9x42 flat top mounted scope.
