who has one adn how do you like it. it seems to be about $100 cheaper than an eotech, and personally it looks like it blocks less of your field of view. is it tough, does it hold zero well, whats the battery life, where is the cheapest place to get it, etc etc

I got mine from Cavalry Arms for $200 and I really like it.  I have only used it a couple times at the range and the battery is still good so I can't tell you how long it lasts.  As far as I can tell it holds zero very well.  I would highly recommend it.

does OKO need any type of adapter or does it go straight on a flattop?

It mounts right on the flat top via four clamps tightened by allen screws.

I have two of these, and I have found the battery life to be very good. I have not had any problems with them holding zero at all.

I have an extra one in my safe that I would sell, e-mail me if you are interested.

Jonathan1994,
Take a look at the Panorama (Japan) sight from Sable Co.  It is an all aluminum body, much more rugged than the OKO for the same $.  I have one on my carbine, used it in 3 gun matches, and I can tell you that it is holding up very well.  Zeroed it once, locked all settings with the set screws, and that was it.

P.S. - Have not change the batteries (Duracell 2032) in 2 years and have not needed to go above setting #8 in bright sunlight conditions.
