Walmart here has a Simmons ProHunter 3-9x40 scope marked down from $109 to $58? Is this a good scope for the price?
I know "everyone" here beleives in $300+ scopes(emphasis on the +), but my budget won't allow it.

The best scope I've ever owned was a 4x32mm Simmons Shotgun scope; nice and clear, bright, and had perfect focus down to 10 yds. I paid $50 for it a few years ago. I say go for it.
