Translucent UDE/FDE, I’d like to see them side by side, same background, same lighting, same photograph. To my old eyes they look the same and I’m not a fan of either.

I got two of the UDE this morning.

I like them much more than I expected.
They are more of their smoke color with a tint of FDE.
I looked for my one FDE mag to get a photo of next to the new one but I can’t locate it quickly so it will have to wait until the weekend or someone else to post one.

Without direct light, they are mostly gray.

Thank you. I ordered one for the "collection" but it has not arrived yet. I agree, it is closer to smoke than FDE. When they are that close together, I really don't see the point other than just to have something different, and really, there is nothing wrong with that now, is there?

I got mine, was hopeful they would be closer to the original UDE color but they are darker.
Oh well more magazines never caused a problem at this price.

Should have gotten more of the LaRue UDE Lancers when they had them on blowout a few years ago. I got 10. Should have gotten another 10.

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

I'm a broken record, but it continues to bug me that Lancer doesn't produce matching baseplates for these colored mags. The ones that they do make them for (Purple, FDE, and OD Green) look much better, in my opinion.

You can grab a three back of fde base plates from primary arms for cheap, and dye them to get *closer* in color to the colored mags. The handful I have done aren’t perfect, but they look better than the black base plates.

I've got 20+ of the smoke translucent ones.

Never had a problem with Botach shipping. I think there was one order they cancelled when they didn't have it in stock, but they refunded my money immediately.

They have these "rare" exotic colors for about $68 / 6 mags. Not bad at all.

I'd still recommend the Hera H3T mags from rainier arms though. Love those.

My issue with Lancer mags is theyre ALWAYS darker and more opaque than the internet photos show. Almost every color I've ever purchased besides the robin's egg blue has been way darker in hand. Which I guess is not really an issue as they work 100% same as PMAGs and etc.

dang, still going on. I needed more mags like a hole in the head, but I don't own any of the thanos mags so I ordered a 12 pack. can't have too many mags

EDIT: I just wish they had some of the robins egg blue for 6 packs :(... or the now sold out Translucent ODG
