I thought I remember they were a site sponsor but now I don't see their icon here anymore?  Did that change?

Edit to add:  Thanks for the info below...can we lock this up.  No need to talk too much about these guys if they aren't site sponsors anymore.

They jacked up their prices during the sandy hook panic. Not quite to the level of CTD, but still significant.

ETA: So, pick a site sponsor and go to town.

It's probably been a couple of years since they stopped advertising here.  Although I wouldn't let that keep me from giving them my business.

Bought a bunch of M1a mags from them. Seem like a good vendor. I will buy from them again.

Good vendor when stuff isn't in stock/hard to find, but their prices are not great (i.e., they'll charge $12-14 for mags you can get for less than $8 if you hunt and peck elsewhere.

Once in a while they'll have a smoking deal on AK47 mags if I remember correctly. About the only time I buy from them.

I've never bought from them but the comments I see regarding them is almost always positive. I've been checking their site often in the past couple of months. They have NHMTG mags on "closeout" and I've been looking to see if they drop the prices. Still waiting.

They were my go to dealer for Check Mate M14 mags.

That's where I got some BDM mags for my wife's .22lr AR.  I didn't think $13.50 was bad for the ones with metal feed lips.

And---I got some S&W 15-22 mags from them at a decent price when they were so hard to find. They were always my go-to vendor for the NHMTG mags also, good service and fast shipping from them.

Don't hold your breath.  We're more likely to see NHMTG prices increase since they won't be made anymore (at least not as NHMTG).

I got lucky that I bought a case of "DPMS" mags that when I received them turned out to be NHMTG

Price gouging douchebags.

They can have decent prices on some mags when on sale, plus an extra discount per mag when buying multiples.
Fast $5 flat rate shipping. Inventory is accurate too; no backorder notice after ordering an "in stock" item. I'd buy from them again.

They are not like other vendors whom had plenty of other stuff to sell.
44 mag sells mostly just magazines.  The panic was a sellers market.  Unless you didn't have/couldn't get, product to sell.  So I can see raising prices just to have some product to sell or face being out of business.
Cheaper than fucking nobody though pissed me off long before SH.

Ok guys. Thanks.  Just wanted to know if they were still a sponsor.  A big no on that.

Plenty of site sponsors to buy from.

Thanks for the economics lesson.

Im guessing 44mag learned a good lesson too when they lost a good chunk of their customer base.

BTW, other vendors didn't jack their prices up, including ones that deal predominately with magazines.  I guess they went to a different "economics" school?

Maybe? But you literally can't price gouge a non essential commodity.
