Has anyone else had any issues with getting the SureFire 60 round mags to feed? I haven't been able to actually shoot with them, but while trying I have had them FTF in 4 AR-15s from 3 top notch manufacturers. All 4 guns will run in like a scalded dog with Pmags, C-Products mags , Lancer mags, various GI mags, Colt 20 round straight older-than-I-am  mags, etc. Just wondering if I'm the only one.

Mine worked great for about the first six months I had it, then it sat for about 3 years (unloaded) and when I tried to use it again it gave me nothing but trouble for multiple range trips.  I've given up on it.

Surefire magazines are a hit or miss proposition. Some people report similar problems, others say there are good to go.

In my opinion, considering a 40 round PMAG runs $19.00, the price/value equation makes the PMAG a smart buy.

My 60 rounder would cause all sorts of malfunctions.

FTF's, bolt over base (slow fire) the follower would get stuck, and not present rounds, feedlips would deform easily, and the list goes on...

You should be able to call Surefire, if yours is a older version it might need to be sent in for a spring upgrade

I cut the top off mine and use it for a brass catcher with my AR57 upper. Unfortunate waste of money but better than the trash can I guess.

Man I'm glad I never shelled out the ca$h for one of those. I really wanted one too...

I believe they are REAL sensitive to round length.

From what I've heard they run fine with IN SPEC M193

I've never had a problem with one, but I've never owned one.

They were popular with competition shooters when they first came out and I don't think I ever saw one work.  People used to sand and polish on 'em and eventually give up.

I have a 60 rounder which has run flawless, even in full auto mag dumps. I will consider myself lucky.

Never opened the bag on my 60 round mag but rent out the 100 round mag from rime to time.

There is a you tube video of a 100 round mag dump with blanks - Full Auto.  It has been 100% for what it is worth.

The two I have are awesome. They are the only mags I have that will feed a spent case. It may not be true but I have heard that you can tell if a mag is good in your gun if it will feed a spent case.

Yes, I was using "in-spec" factory loads, and they got MANGLED from being shoved partway into the action wrong.

I've seen a SureFire video with a full auto 100 round dump, and a few videos of the 60 round mags working fine at 3 gun matches, even before they were released. I guess even "respectable" companies are sometimes full of shit. I can ask SureFire to upgrade them, but they'll only ever be range mags now, unless someone here wants a "matched-pair" of them cheap...herp derp.

Surefire will repair/replace them.  One of mine had to go back for repair.

I still don't trust them, but they can be a fun toy.

I have one loaded to capacity in my safe.  Been there for almost about 18 months or so.  I was going to wait a full 2 years and then give it a whirl to see what happened with it, but after reading this thread I might give it a go this weekend to see what happens.

After reading the reports here, I am not expecting much.
