Picked up a beat up Colt 30rd mag at a gun show today. Says Colt MFG on one side, Restricted Mil/Gov on the other. Colt logo with 5.56 on the bottom.
Did some research on here and Google and can't find anything out about them. Are they rare at all or worth anything more than a normal Colt mag? |

Tens of thousands manufactured during the ten year long ban. In unissued condition...$8.00 each. |

...I purchased my first AR in 1972, magazines are cheaper now than I've ever seen. It's a buyers market! Late 70's for me, but completely agree on the 'cheaper now than ever' reality. Whatever a person considers a "lifetime supply" - which could be three magazines or three hundred - it would be a good idea to take advantage of the current market. It was just last year that there were a lot of people posting sources for magazines at $40 and higher in the "magazine deals" thread. Next year may or may not be better or worse; but it's undeniably better now than any time in my life, and I'm just not a gambler. |
