So far I only have HKs. I want to acquire some Lancers eventually.

Lancers are good. Never seen an H&K around here.

My Lancer Systems pre production L5 translucent 30 rd mag on my LMT M4 16" carbine.

I also tried my old and new AWM Lancers on my Steyr AUG A1 with the factory NATO conversion stock that accepts NATO M16 type mags, they all works great.
