Can anyone give me some feedback on these? Ordered 2 form midway and got them in. Looks and feels like a good strong mag , but I haven't used them and might never use them. I am keeping them sealed till I might need them one day. Midway still has them in stock and was thinking about ordering 2 more , but should I bother? They will stay sealed also.  Right now I am just buying mags for long term storage since i have more than enough mags out of the package for normal range use. But if the time comes and the mags need to be used , I want to make sure I am stocking good reliable mags. Thanks.

open one and test it hard, go from there and hope that one wasnt the exeption. why not just open and test them all and put them away afterwards? nothing is safe from rust or corrosion just because its in plastic and then youll knoww 100% your not stocking trash mags.

Never tried them but I'd only buy them to use.
If you plan on leaving them in the bag forever I'd go pmag or nhmtg.

I bought a ton of them in 05-06.  Loaded them up and never got to them until last week.

15% of them sound and feel like two sheets of 60 grit steel sand paper rubbing against each other.  About half of those I had to pop the floor plate off of to pull the follower out to get it to move if it was pushed down.
Those were tossed.  The rest will be used as range mags only and I expect more failures then.  Not worth the $5.99  paid for them.

I read on  arfcom that they were rebranded c products so i avoided them.... Anyone know for sure?

They are re branded but I think ASC. I say that because thats what it says on the follower on mine
i bought some and like them a lot
Besides my e landers , these are my favorite metal mags
I compare that to other ones I own (center , okay , NHMTG , c products ,d&h)
I like mine and would not hesitate to get more

I bought a bunch back in 2004 and have put thousands of rounds through them out in the desert.  I've had no problems, as far as I'm concerned they are good to go.

In 7.62x39 they are good to go. They seem somehow better than the c-products - comparable to their ASC counterparts. Mine have ASC followers.

I just got 2 10 rounders. Tried them out at the range and had no problems at all. There was a comment here on another thread about them not dropping free due to the bump out above the release hole, but I had no issues. Mine dropped freely.

I prefer USGI for 5.56 but their 7.62x39 mags are GTG. Compared to CProducts Defense - I have some new  7.62 CPD 30 round mags with a gap at the front seam.

And I thought this thread was going to be about "High Times" or Rolling Stone.....

In my opinion they are decent mags, no complaints about them at all.  I only have two but they seat, eject and function well in the two AR's I have tried them in.

Well,

I've tried them a while ago...

Hopefully my brother has taken all them...

I'm pretty much down to just using pmags...

Sorta sad!

But they just work every time...can be abused ans still run...

We shoul just change the name of this forum from magazines to pagazines...

I like the 20 round size and Pmag 20s have been hard to find.

I bought 3 AR Stoner 20-rounders recently.  They are stainless steel.  Very solid.  I shot one of them and it ran fine.

I have quite a few---never an issue out of any of them in any of my rifles.
