For personal use I use the Maglula - LULA loader for my AR and AK. It works really well but it wouldnt say its exactly speed loader. You can load pretty fast though and you can unload a magazine with it really fast. The one for my AR makes loading the Surefire 60 rounders I have simple.

I prefer the Strip-Lula. Will load stripper clips EASY and if you don't have stirppers you can load 10 loose rounds at a time. Fantastic device.
For pistols the UpLula is the most expensive accessory you will ever buy because you find yourself shooting 2-3x the ammo each range session since it make loading pistol mags SOOOOOO easy. |

For faster mag loads, use stripper clips. Of course, first you gotta load the loose rounds into the stripper clips........ |

IMHO the best AR15/M16 magazine loader is the thermold magazine charger.
Does everything the stripLULA does but for more than half the price!! http://www.thermoldmagazines.com/products/mc-m-16-ar-15-10 |

I use my Lula all the time, I've also bought them for troops getting deployed The UPLula is great too, one of the true pieces you need in your range bag When I have lots of mags to load, I use the "Bench Lula" |

Got the Maglula(Butler Creek branded) at Gander Mountain for $15. They had them on a hook, and no one knew what they were used for, so I got it quite a bit cheaper than what they had marked.
Oh, I also have a Cammenga Loader. It only loads 20rds at a time though. |

You can use the Strip-Lula with or without stripper clips. It's slightly faster with clips than without but not by enough to worry about it. Awesome tool...!!! |

No. You can load stripper clips in your spare time (watching TV etc) then you don't waste that time at the range. If lucky you can buy ammo already loaded on strippers (Out of stock, but you get the idea). Also, one reason I prefer the StipLula is that you can also load 10 at a time loose with no strippers. It's a win-win. |

The LULA for AR mags and ahndgun mags is one of the first things I tell people to buy when they get into the shooting sports. For handguns with tough to load mags (like new glock mags when you cant get the last two rounds in) the LULA makes it easy and doesnt strip skin off your thumb...
And in the wintertime when wearing gloves you can still load small caliber pistol mags and not have to de-glove. |

No experience with the LULA. Been using the Cammenga Easyloader for about a year now and I like it.
