Why would someone prefer a Mako 10 round mag - nothing I have found to be wrong - curiosity on my part

I prefer smaller mags when hunting...

Some states are limited to 10rd mags. Some States also require 10rd or less for hunting, though most limit it to 5.

Easier if you are shooting off a bench or laying down, they won't get in the way. Same thing with some deer stands etc
