| I am new to the AR world and was wondering why do you need so many mags? Is it just for speed or do they tear up easily over time and need replaced? I apologize for being ignorant about this but was just curious. |
expendable itemComponent or part (such as bolt, nut, rivet) for which (1) no authorized repair procedure exists, and/or (2) the cost of repair would exceed cost of its replacement. Expendable items are usually considered to be consumed when issued and are not recorded as returnableinventory. That's how they're treated by many. If you take care of your stuff, and only plink at the range, mags last a long time.

| Thanks for the responses. I figured mags were pretty tough but when some guys are buying them up by the 100s and at higher prices it had me wondering if I was missing something! I got two with my gun and have 10 more on order (whenever that might be). Thanks again. |
