Right now I have 2 GI magazine pouch that holds 3 - 30 round magazines each and this inst working well for me. in the next few days I am going to have like 12 magazines for my one ar15. and want to order more Pmags as money comes open. |

Really breaks down to preference.
I have a range bag that is always got loaded mags in it.... One for my rifles and one for my pistols. http://www.armynavydeals.com/products/main/mid/9191.jpg This one is my pistol bag. Plenty of room for about 40 mags. Or 20 plus holster, belt, eyes and ears. http://www.armynavydeals.com/products/main/mid/FX4069.jpg This is my rifle bag. Have about 20 mags. Both AR and AK. Plus a shotty bandoleer as well. Plus plenty of room for eyes and ears. Carry a knife on the outside and other range necessities. Then I got a cheap rack from Target. Has 3 shelves. All my weapons have a separate Ammo can. Both .30 and .50 cans. Sitting next to my gun cabinet in my office. Other ppl like those Pelican Cases. Holds USGI and PMags nice and tight. Plus water proof. Standard cans work for me. Label the hell out of everything. 3rd ways is both my AR and my AK have cases that have a 6 mag pouch build in. So if the range bags are in different spots, the case has extra mags too. ETA: I also like the SAW mag pouches. They hold 6 mags either USGI or PMag . http://www.armynavydeals.com/products/main/mid/FX56781.jpg I love Armynavydeals.com for free shipping on most. Ebay has bags too for cheap. |

I am not looking for vest or tac gear, and not really looking to keep loaded magazines (how ever I do have a loaded 20 round mag ready to go in my safe) so they do not need to be gotten to fast
I am trying to figure out a way to store the 13 + magazines just to keep them out of harms way in my tight for space gun room Right now I am thinking the ammo can may work but I don't have much room for it. was hoping for ideas of something more compact. |
| M1967 ammo pouches are the same style of pouch I have. I am looking for something a little bit better I have a 9 30 round, 3 20 round mags and 1 9 round mag and am thinking about getting some more 20 round P-mags. the 20 round mags do not work very well in the ammo pouches. |
