| What is the opinion on H&K mags? These are mil-surp? What are they worth? I am not selling just keeping track of cost savings for our dealings with DRMS. |
|
I STILL like mine. I still buy them. But I'm paying about $23-$25 per mag (NIW)(shipped) now. Never paid $70 each when they first came out. And I refuse to pay the $40 going price now. No real advatage over the USGI or Magpul, but they ARE silky smooth. And when any mag craps out, replace it. I've YET to have any of my HK mags even begin to show signs of crapping out. There is a member here named LCPL4EVER that wrote a page on what aftermarket springs to use IF the HK springs go bad. But I've yet to have any of mine go bad, and I've had mine for years. This is Just my observation with MY equipment with MY usage.
Pmags are great, but in MY equipment they don't fall free empty or loaded. But the HK's and USGI's do. |

I have two dozen of them that I use a lot when I am using a 30 round mag. I've yet to have any trouble from any of them and several have gone well beyond the so called 1K life span several times over.
HK has had problem with springs, especially in the USP mags, but I've yet to hit any bad USP/C springs either. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket? |
