| The primary test ammo for this magazine is the M855 5.56mm 62gr ball, green tip ammo from Lake City, and the nominal length of the feed path accommodates the standard round length. Steel case ammunition, due to the lacquer finish, has a high friction rate than brass, especially when used new, and coupled with the added weight of a full compliment of 60 rounds, the added accumulation of exhaust gas particulates in a used magazine, and the geometry of the magazine, steel case ammunition does feed less reliably that brass. Both case types should function however. |

12 loads of 60 rounds through mine now. All WPA 55gr and no malfunctions. The thing is hard as hell to load after about the first 20 rounds go in. I assume this is when the follower splits? |

I had a 100 on back order with midway since sept, I called last week and canceled the order and then placed an order with SKD, got the mag yesterday. and the price was overall cheaper then midway's dealer price.
Loaded it up with some brown bear I also got yesterday, range trip is not till the 16th of june. |

Range report on the 100.
200rds 55gr Silverbear 100rds 62gr XM855 Not a single problem. Loaded & fired fine. USGI spoon & clips loaded fine. Got all 100 in using this method & by hand as well. I did some static shooting, some running, some side & kneeling. Used the mag as a bipod & put some weight on the mag, slow fire, rapid fire, & just putted along. I did have some keyholeing, likely from the silverbear ammo. Still wouldn't put my life on this mag though. Pretty useless I think for anything but a range toy. But so far it works fine. We'll see. Ammo costs prevent me from using it for a few months.

| So far I've run the 60 on my 6920 with absolutely no problems. At work we tried it on a Colt R0933 (11.5'' full auto commando) with YHM supressor and had numerous double feeds with heavy damage to the cases while on full auto. |

I got my 100 rnd in yesterday from GSLAdventuregear.com I got my 60rnd awhile back from them to. Love this new "billy club". You could almost play baseball with it. It does add weight that's for sure but very balanced in the AR. Have not shot it yet. But if it's anything like the 60, all should be fine. Oh and GSL threw in another free pair of Surefire Sonic earplugs with the mag.

| Is it your experience that a weapon cycles faster, and harder, when a suppressor is used, and in conjunction with a 11.5" barrel? Curious to know if you have measured the cycle rate of the weapon you mention, when hot. The cycle rate would likely surpass 1150 rounds per minute (std is 850-950 rpm), and adding the additional ammunition related to the magazine size would tend to result in induced feed failures, potentially. Your thoughts would be appreciated. |

Got my 60 rounder yesterday. Pulled out 6 loaded stripper clips, laid the spoon on the mag, brrrt, brrrt, brrrt, brrrt, brrrt, brrrt. flawess loading with stripper clips. I dont have the patience to handload 60 rounds one by one.
Opened up the back door of the guest bedroom to the backyard with the 762SDN6 can in the 16" middy 5.56. Let her rip rapdifire till it was empty while I was standing inside because it was raining. Flawless performance. I'll pick up one more next check if there are any left. Also, Hot brass will burn a comforter, I checked. Also, 60 rounds of M855 makes some gas that wont disperse before the wife gets home. Im in the doghouse, but the $100 i forked out for the mag was worth it. Great product, I was skeptical at first because I am a fan of the 30 round trend, "if it ain't broke, dont fix it" but now I dont worry about walking out the house with only one magazine. |

idk I would never trust a life with these mags. They are range fun as far as I'm concerned. Just too hit & miss & the design is too complex. Complex things fail at the wrong times.
And I own several & have flawless performance so far. |

I just got two of the 60 rounders and ran 180 rounds through each of them. I had one FTF with one of them on the first run through, about half way through, in a kel tec SU16C. Other than that, no problems in the SU16C and a Stag factory built lower with a factory LMT 14.5" upper. They are fun and I do not regret the purchase.
This was prvi 5.56 55 gr ammo. EDIT: the one failure, the magazine follower lost tension and wouldn't push the rounds up until I tapped it a few times on a solid surface. Then simply re-inserted and picked up from where I had left off. |

So longer projectiles cause problems with the 60's?
I tested mine for the first time this weekend with 75gr hornady training ammo and the mag was worthless in both my bcm 14.5" middy and xcr. Constant double feeds and nose dive failure to feeds with both platforms. I'll try it with something in 55 or 62 gr flavor next time I guess. |
