I thought I saw somewhere, where someone had modified a Pmag to hold a .22LR BDM mag or another setup..

Anyone know of this or am I dreaming?

some people cut the top off of pmags and stuck the old skinny bdm magazines that are no long in production in them

I had thought about sanding down the walls of BDM mags and cramming them into gutted Pmags to see if it would work, but never got around to it before I sold my conversion kit...

Just curious as to why one would do so.

The BDM mags are slick sided, and could be hard to manipulate when wet...

Because that's a BDM mag $18-$25, and a Pmag, $10-$20. Cuttin' one up just didn't make sense to me.

I have a thing for overly complicated and expensive mags... ;)

Heat-stippling the BDM mags could be an option for that situation.  The plastic seems more than thick enough for it.
