Looking for an AR-180 Magazine or at least how to modify a standard AR Mag to work in an AR-180

Thanks

I found the easiest mag to modify for the AR-180 is the original Thermold 30 rounder. A slot cut into the side and the AR-15 mag catch bump filed down is all it's needed. The follower doesn't need to be modded either. The USGI mags requires a little more work.

After some researching and looking around Sig Sauer 556 mags already have the slot cut into the mag the only thing that needs to be done is a little file work on the back of the magazine to prevent the mag from pushing up the bolt hold open and that is it.  Also MWG polymer mags also have the slot cut into them and they lock up right off.  I have some for my 7.62x39 ar and my mag fit right in after I noticed that it already has a slot cut on the right side.  just need to get it in 5.56

Look for some PMI 40 rounders. They usually aren't very expensive, and they are cut for both AR-15's and AR-180's. I found this guy selling new Brownell's mags modified to fit a 180. (not my auction)

You can probably find someone on the Bower's board (http://subguns.com/) who has instructions for making the 180 cut.

Thermold also made some mags to fit. Do a search on them.
