| How can I identify pre ban magazines that I may have that would help our members in less free states? |
|
Federal guidance (from the now-expired magazine ban) was that an umarked magazine is presumed to be pre-ban, unless it is of a type which was not manufactured before the effective date of the ban.
Some GI aluminum 30rd mags do have a date stamp (Cooper Industries comes to mind, on the side, next to their 6P199 CAGE code), in which case if they're date-stamped before the effective date of your state's ban, then they're presumed to be pre-ban. |
