I have 6 Adventureline mags I have been using as range mags for 10 years  now, banged to hell and back....but work great...

The rest of my collection is Pmags, NHMGT, LaBelle, OKay, BCUSA, Adventureline, Sanchez and Universal

Like the rest of us, when the anointed one was elected in '08, I started buying anything that had AR associated with it including CProducts magazines...I have over 30 of the CP 20 rounders still in plactic and I never tried them.

I purchased some Hornady Training ammo at Academny sports to try so I loaded up three of the CP 20 rounders and let me tell you they worked great, no issues, dropped well, really satisfied.

Why am I saying this?  I read a lot of comments about CP's not workiing right and fittiing tight, etc, I was worried knowing I had a number of these in storage, but I figured if things got real tight, I could get them to function if needed.  I just never tried them.

I am going to retire those 6 old range mags and replace them with the CP.

Second finding, that Hornady Training, 55gr, FMJ is some good stuff, great groups at 100 yards, 30% better than the Remington green-white box, better than the PMC and Winchester white box.

Just my thoughts...

I believe CProducts had a batch of mags a few years back that had some poor welds. They fixed the problem and made things right with customers. CProducts also seems to replace defective mags with no questions asked––their customer service is second to none. They just tend to get a bad rap around here sometimes.

For as much bitching as I see, you'd think they never made a single good mag.

I bought tons of them, for .223 and a slew of the 6.8 mags.

I never had a single issue with a mag from CProducts, or because of a mag from them.

I know some people shy away, but for my money, you can not do better than a CProducts mag.

6.8 SPC mags: PRI and Barrett are insanely expensive.

Never had a single issue with the CProducts mags.

They need to bring back Marlube.

I run their SS mags. Good stuff.

So this thread is to say that with all of the bad CP mags members have experienced consistently for years, that should all be forgotten because you got 20 and not one of those was bad?

Although,  I'm sure from your post that you have tried them all yet, so...?

With the various other caliber mags that CP makes I think they are a good option due to price and availability.   But for standard AR mags, I'm not there with you

No problems with the 4 I have, would like at least 6 more, just waiting on pay day. My roommate did have an issue getting them to seat with 20 rounds in a 30rd mag but I didn't have a problem with them. He grew a pair and that resolved that issue.

Hey, your entitled to your opinion. The OP, others posting on here, Bushmaster, Remington, Midway, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, DPMS, Stag Arms, Olympic Arms, Alexander Arms, POF, Savage, just to name a few do not agree with you.

The thing is, people just don't always know what they're talking about, so you have to take both the good and bad posted on the Internet with a grain of salt.

I really don't think the post was saying that.  It would be like saying every Toyota ever made was now bad because of consistently bad recalls lately.  You can't say that, not of Toyota, Ford, Chevy, Chrysler.  You have to look at each make AND each model AND even each model year in some cases.

CP has made bad mags as we all know, but you have to look at the mag model and the range of years.  Today, their USGI AR mags, from 5rd aluminum to the 40rd stainless have consistently high marks in quality and reliability the past 1-3 years from all sorts of folks.  Do you ignore what's happened before then?  Well, no.  But has C-Products made good on making a better mag?  Yes, definitely.  Not only that, you have future assurance - its clear their aim is continual improvement, judging alone by Chad and Larry's CS on this forum.

With the MOST competitively priced quality USGI AR 30rd Aluminum mag out there, its why I bought 600 USGI 30rd C-Pro's.  I'd explain my R&D, but that's pointless on this forum.  (As for pictures, yes GTFO...I know. Its coming. 600 mags in plastic wrap are damn near slippery, and I'm not about to open each one for ya'll.  ...just wait till you see my mil-spec container for them.)

I picked up two new 30 round mags from Botach. They worked fine this weekend. I added the CP pull baseplates to them and to a couple other 30 round mags I had. I'll keep buying them.
