I just got 20 Fusil magazines from CDNN. They look to be great  magazines. The only question I have is, the mags came in seperate zip lock bags. Each mag has marks on them. I'm looking at the picture and I guess they get them in boxes with the mags rubbing against each other. The picture of the magazine is pretty much how they look. I'm happy with them, but was curios as to what finish they have on them and if this is common for Metal mags. Is it o.K. to store them as they came in the bags or should I oil them?
Still a screaming deal at $8.99 when most places sell them for $40.

T-TAC,

That is the way every FUSIL USA magazine body looks that I have seen

Typical Manganese Phosphate finish with storage rubs.

If you want more FUSIL magazines from CDNN, check out the tacked magazine deal thread.  I entered the CDNN free shipping code "FIRST"

Fusil mags have, by far, the fugliest finish of any magazines I ever saw.

If it really bothers you, do what I did. I cleaned them with acetone and sprayed them with some black ceramic enamel engine paint and baked them, they look awesome now.

One of mine came with a tiny rust spot..... one thing led to another.... some 000 steel wool, WD40, car wax, and way too much spare time later.......

It looks better without the camera flash
