BetaMag is a brand not a type of mag.

Bob's Best (tm) BetaMags are the best and least expensive, but Bob's been on backorder for years, since his mags are so good and so cheap.

You'll probably have to settle for a Beta Corp. C-Mag (also tm), in the $250-$300 range.

Beta C-mags are awesome in theory.  But after you fill it up with 100 rounds and put it on your AR-15, you will love it for 30 seconds as you weild the power.....  Then you realize it is as heavy as a two liter bottle of soda hanging on your gun and you will slowly start to realize it is pointless.    Your speed and reaction time go way down, and the magazine is so expensive, you would never want to drop it and leave it to load another magazine during rapid fire.

I sold mine about two months after buying one because it was way too heavy.

I hope you like yours!

the cool factor wears off quick,I could have dealt with the weight I guess but I was always afraid of breaking a $300 mag.
I would rather stick to 30rd mags

If there is fear of another ban.........they will jump back to $700+.  I'm happy with mine.  They are worth their weight.  Too heavy, work out more.

Good perimeter load for zombie control.
