Last week I bought an older Eagle Arms M15 flat top rifle length AR15 with 1 in 9 twist chrome lined barrel, 2 stage FCG and a Hogue grip for $500. I bought it from a buddy and I have shot this rifle so i know it shoots.
Along with the rifle came nine 30 round mags. On the bottom of the mags it says:
OKAY Industries Inc, New Britain, Conn. They have the standard light green follower.
These magazines look identical in every way to CProducts 30 rd. mags I bought 2  or 3 years ago.
The last thing I need for an AR are more 30 round mags. I prefer straight body 20 rounders and would take one true 5 rounder over two of the 30 rounders.

Are the Okay mags considered good magazines?  Good as Cproducts?

Thanks

Okay mags are top of the line USGI mags, and the only ones I will use at this point.  I've switched to PMAGS for the most part, but cannot bring myself to get rid of a single Okay mag.  Personally, I would consider getting rid of the C Products mags before the Okays...

Okay Industries makes, IMHO, the best aluminum magazine.

Okay has been making 20 and 30rd mags for both the Gov't and Colt since (almost) day one. Every .223/5.56 magazine marked "Colt" was made by Okay. (the 20rd Universal/Simmonds were also Okay Ind)

NHMTG is the civilian marketing arm of Okay, and sell 30rd and straight 20rd under that name. They're available from a number of Arfcom vendors like 44mag.com and palmettostatearmory.com

Okay = NHMTG mags,  IIRC Okay markets them to the public under the NHMTG brand , that is the way I understood it.

I bought a some 30 rounders from Palmetto State Armory last week for 7.95 per mag, definetely worth the price.
