A friend just dumped about 15 30 round magazines in my lap, but I'm not sure if they are any good. I probably won't get to try them for a while, so I'm hoping someone can give input.

They are light gray, slippery as all heck, light green follower and stamped buyammo.com on the bottom.

Anyone familiar with these?

Post some pictures of the mag bodies, floorplates, and follower and we can probably help you out a little more. I have not personally heard of buyammo.com stamped mags but perhaps someone else has.

P.S. If they are free they can't be that bad.......

Look to see if they have a cage number somewhere on the magazine body.

For example if you see 04TQ4 on a mag, it was made by D&H Industries and it's an excellent magazine.

33710 is NHMTG/OKAY and that's even better.

That's Outdoor Marksman.

Are those mags aluminum or steel? I checked their web site. They sell Promag steel mags. Don't see any aluminum mags.
If they are steel, perhaps free is what they are worth.

Thanks for the comments guys.

These are made of aluminum, no markings at all on the mag at all except on the base plate. I'll get photos this weekend.

Thanks again.
